September 22, 2023 – Arrival Tel–Aviv airport at 11:15 AM, meet with our representative, transfer to Jerusalem. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
September 23, 2023 – Morning prayer at Masjid Al Aqsa for the prayer. Back to your hotel. After breakfast, departure to Hebron «Khalil alrahman», built by the Canaanites around 4000 BC. You will be taken around the Old City, visit the Tomb of the Patriarchs which contains the tombs of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their wives. Prayer in the Al Khalil Mosque. Then you’ll visit the Hebron’s Casbah which reveals to visitors a lot of surprises, such as famous glass and ceramic manufactories. On the way visit Maqam Nabi Yunus in Halhul. Drive to Bethlehem, visit of the historical centre of Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest continuously operating churches in the world, built over the cave that tradition marks as the birthplace of Prophet Issa. Drive to Alquds for evening prayer. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Bethlehem or Jerusalem.
Morning Prayer Fajr, in Al Aqsa, back to your hotel. After breakfast. The day will be spent visiting Jerusalem, a city holy to the three monotheistic religions. The ancient city has experienced great bloodshed over the centuries, twenty times destroyed and yet still standing. In the old City, you will encounter in an oriental charm and be plunged into the souk’s colorful alleys which take you to the meeting places of the three major monotheistic religions: Pproceed to the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, prayer in both of them, visit the Via Dolorosa, Omar Ebn Al Khatab Mosque and the Holy Sepulcher, one of emblems of Christianity. Visit Haet Albourak (the Wailing Wall). diner and overnight at the hotel.
September 25, 2023 – After breakfast, you will visit the Mount of Olives. The highest peak, at-Tur, rises to 818 meters and offers not only a splendid view on the old city, but also an important place in the history of three monotheist religions. Visit of Raba’a Adwieh tomb. She was a dancer and singer during the Abbasside period. Once she left the world of spectacle and devoted her life to Islam. Today she is one of the most famous women in Islam. Visit of Salman Al Farisi tomb, companion of Khalif Omar Ben Al Khtab. All together they reached Al Quds in 638. Then departure for a green oasis near the Dead Sea- Jericho- which was made famous by the discovery of one of the oldest cities of the Levant dating from the eighth millennium BC. you will cross the desert and pass by the Inn of the Good Samaritan, of significance because of the famous parable in the Gospels. Stop in Nabi Moussa mosque. Continue to Jericho to discover the Monastery of the Temptation. is traditionally regarded as the mountain on which Nabi Isssa was tempted by the devil during his 40-day fast. Drive to the Dead Sea and enjoy the unique experience of floating in it. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
After breakfast, check out transfer to Allenby Bridge, the border crossing with Jordan, meet with our representative, Drive to Petra, visit Petra’s Site. Petra is one of the world’s greatest archaeological sites and today’s one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. A 2000-year-old ancient city and known as the “red rock city”, Petra was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AC.
Carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rock, Petra was forgotten for hundreds of years until it was rediscovered in 1812. At the entrance of Petra, travelers are offered the option to ride a horse for 800m – from the visitor’s center to the entrance of the dramatic «Siq» (canyon). From the entrance to the Siq there is a 1250-meter walk to the 1st monument «The treasury». Throughout most of the day we will explore Petra’s incredible structures: the treasury, the field of tombs, the obelisks and the altar, and much more. Dinner and overnight et the hotel in Petra.
September 27, 2023 – After breakfast, drive to Kerak, visit the famous castle and go on to the site of the Battle of Mutah in 629 AD. Here we find the tombs of the venerable companion Zaid bin Harithah, who led the army during the battle of Mutah and died, the tomb of Ja’far bin Abi Talib and Abdullah bin Ruwahah. Drive to Kahf Al Raqim, the Cave of the Seven Sleepers, with a mosque fitting the description of the Holy Quran. Route to Amman, visit of the Citadel in Amman with remains from Roman to Islamic period as well as the Archaeological Museum. We will proceed in downtown, the oldest part of Amman, visit Roman theatre and Al Husseini Mosque, built on remains of a mosque in 640 AD by caliph Umar bin Al Khattab. Dinner and overnight et the hotel in Amman.
